HCG VLCD Notes:
- The juice of one lemon daily is allowed for all purposes while on HCG P2.
- Salt, pepper, vinegar, mustard powder, garlic, sweet basil, parsley, thyme, marjoram, etc., and most NATURAL spices are okay for seasoning, but most pre-bottled spices and especially spice mixes are NOT allowed. There are new HCG safe spices available in a variety of delicious flavors here.
- No oil, butter or regular (non—HCG-safe) dressings can be used for HCG seasoning on your HCG foods in your HCG meal.
- On the HCG Diet, tea, coffee, plain water, or mineral water are the only HCG drinks allowed, but they may be taken in any quantity and at all times. These can be sweetened with one of the 14 flavors of stevia here.
- Water on the HCG Diet: People should drink about 2 liters of water per day.
- The HCG fruit or the HCG Grissini Stick (breadstick Grissino) may be eaten between meals instead of with lunch or dinner, but not more than four items listed for lunch and dinner may be eaten at one meal. In other words, if you eat your fruit or breadstick away from your HCG meal, subtract it from the HCG food you eat on one of your other HCG meals that day.
