Phase 2 Recipe Video: Health Conscious Guru Diet Chicken Stock

This homemade chicken borth HCG recipe is the baseline for many other HCG recipes. Use this homemade broth to make HCG soup or sautee veggies!

Watch this recipe video to see how to cook chicken stock for the diet. A lot of our customers will cook a large batch of the diet chicken stock and then keep it for cooking throughout their round on the diet. This diet stock can be used to sauté veggies or used as a 'base' of many soups. Plus, this recipe can be using after the VLCD phase of the diet as a low sodium, healthier version of canned chicken broth.

Health Conscious Guru Diet Chicken Broth

  • 6 100g pieces of chicken breast
  • 8 cups water
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion salt
  • 1/4 tsp celery salt
  • 1/4 tsp poultry seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt

To cook this VLCD Chicken Broth mix all the above ingredients into a large pot. Allow to cook over low-medium heat until chicken has turned into a white color and is no long pink in the middle. Remove the pieces of chicken (these pieces of chicken can be used in other VLCD meals and makes 6 meat servings). Remove pot from heat, allow to cool slightly, store in a glass container. This recipe is allowed on the VLCD phase of the diet (also known as Phase 2 or the 500 calorie phase). This recipe equals NO servings of diet items, so you can have unlimited quantities of this recipe during meal times.
