Yummy soup recipes for the 500 calorie phase of the HCG diet.

HCG Homemade Chicken Broth

(From the 101 Worry-Free HCG Diet Recipes cookbook)

  • 6 100 gram pieces of Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast
  • 8 cups of Water
  • 1/4 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp. Onion Salt
  • 1/4 tsp. Celery Salt
  • 1/4 tsp. Poultry Seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp. Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. Sea Salt

Combine ingredients in a pot and cook until chicken is done. Remove chicken and refrigerate or freeze to use at a later time (6 servings). Put two cups of broth in a medium size container to make soup or add a few tablespoons to saute veggies.

HCG Phase 2 Basic Chicken Soup

Great recipes for Phase 2 of the HCG diet.

  • 2 cups of HCG Safe Homemade Chicken Broth
  • 100 g Chicken Breast
  • 1-2 cups Diced Celery
  • 1/2 t. HCG Safe Poultry Spice Blend
  • 1 Bay Leaf                                           
  • 2 Cloves Garlic, Diced                 
  • 1/8 tsp. Cayenne Pepper                                                       Buy Now!
  • 1/8 tsp. Salt
  • 1/8 tsp. Black Pepper

Boil the chicken broth in a saucepan with the poultry spice, garlic, bay leaf, salt, pepper,  and cayenne pepper. Cut the chicken breast into cubes. Cut the celery into matching size pieces. Mix the chicken and celery into the boiling broth. Cook on low heat for 20 minutes or more until chicken is fully cooked and the celery is tender.

HCG Creamy Chicken Soup

  • 100g Cooked Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast
  • 2 c. Celery
  • 2 cups of HCG Safe Homemade Chicken Broth
    3 Cloves Garlic
  • 1/2 t Parsley
  • 1/2 t Basil
  • 1/8 t Salt
  • 1/8 t Pepper

In food processor, combine all ingredients. Pulse until well chopped. Pour into saucepan and bring to boil. Reduce heat to simmer, cover, and heat about 20-30 minutes.
