Phase 3 Recipes: Health Conscious Guru Diet Spinach Mozzarella Pizza
Health Conscious Guru Diet Spinach Mozzarella Pizza
- 1 Large ‘Flat Out’ Flatbread Wrap
- 2 tsp. Olive Oil
- 1 c. Tomato Sauce
- 2 tbsp. Italian Seasoning
- 1 tbsp. Onion Powder
- 1 tbsp. Garlic Powder
- Your choice of cheese: Mozzarella, Asiago, Parmesan, etc.
- Your choice of toppings: Pepperoni, Sausage, Bell Peppers, Onions, Black Olives, Mushrooms, Cooked Chicken, Spinach, Tomatoes…be creative.
Preheat oven to 415 degrees. Mix tomato sauce and spices in a small pot on low heat for 3-5 mins. Place the flatbread on a cookie sheet, brush both sides with the olive oil. Place in oven for 3 mins. Flip over and place back in oven for 3 more mins. Next, remove the crust from the oven, spread the tomato sauce mixture on top, then add desired toppings, top with cheese. Place back in oven, on middle rack for 12 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Garnish with more Italian Seasoning for appearance, slice into 8 pieces, and serve warm.
The Phase 3 pizza in the picture is made with pureed spinach and mozzarella cheese.
This recipe is safe for the 2nd 3 weeks of Maintenance. DO NOT eat during the 1st 3 weeks of Maintenance.
