Health Conscious Guru Diet Steak & Onions
- 100 g of Extra Lean Steak
- 1/8 tsp. Fine Salt
- 1/8 tsp. Black Pepper
- 1 clove Garlic (minced)
- 1/8 tsp. Chili Powder
- 1/8 tsp. Cumin
- 1/8 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 tsp. Water
- 1 Onion, Diced
Prepare this recipe by cutting the steak into small strips, season with the above spices. Place the spiced meat and water into a small non-stick pan over medium heat. Stir frequently. After about 2 minutes of cooking the meat, add the diced onions. Continue cooking until onions are opaque and meat is cooked until your preference.
This recipe is allowed on the VLCD phase of the diet (also known as Phase 2 or the 500 calorie phase). This recipe equals 1 serving of vegetables and 1 serving of meat.
