Health Conscious Guru Diet Desserts: Baked Apples
- 1 Apple
- 1 Melba toast
- 1 t. Lemon Juice
- 1/4 t. Cinnamon
- 1/8 t. Nutmeg
- 1 Packet of Powdered Stevia
Core the apple and cut in half. Crush the Melba Toast into crumbs. Mix Melba toast crumbs with cinnamon, nutmeg, and stevia. Top apple halves with Melba mixture and bake for 15-20 minutes at 375 degrees until apples are soft and Melba toast topping is lightly brown. Serve warm.
Health Conscious Guru Diet Desserts: Applesauce
- 1 Apple
- 3 tbsp. Water
- 1/4 t. Cinnamon
- 1 Packet of Powdered Stevia
Peel, core, and dice apple. Place diced apple in mini-crockpot and add water. Add cinnamon. Cook at least two hours. When finished, mash with spoon or fork, or place in blender to reach desired consistency. Serve warm or refrigerate and serve cold.
