Descriptions of the HCG foods and HCG sizes allowed on HCG P2 / HCG VLCD Phase, including HCG P2 Breakfast, HCG P2 Lunch & HCG P2 Dinner:
HCG P2 Breakfast:
Tea or coffee in any quantity without sugar. Only one tablespoonful of milk is allowed in 24 hour period. Saccharin (brand name Sweet ‘n’ Low) or allowable HCG brands of stevia may be used.
HCG P2 Lunch:
- HCG P2 Meats: 3.5 oz. serving size. All visible fat must be carefully trimmed off before cooking, and the meat must be weighed raw. It must be boiled or grilled without additional fat. Salmon, eel, canned tuna*, herring, dried or pickled fish are not allowed in this phase of the diet. The chicken breast must be off the bone. *We have found through working with thousands of clients that canned tuna packed in water is okay. We believe that Dr. Simeons said tuna was not allowed because it is possible that in the 1950's it was only packed in oil. Here's the list of the lean HCG Meats allowed on HCG...

- Beef: Such as Filet, Sirloin, Tender Tips, Ground Round
- Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast
- Fresh White Fish: Such as Cod, Tilipia, Orange Roughy
- Lobster
- Fresh crab
- Shrimp
- Tuna (Packed in water, ONLY)*
- HCG P2 Vegetables: One type of vegetable only from the following list...
- Spinach
- Chard
- Chicory
- Beet-greens
- Green Lettuce (Any variety)
- Tomatoes: Premade HCG tomato sauce are allowed, such as HCG Tomato Italiano Sauce & HCG Chili Sauce
- Celery
- Fennel
- Onions
- Red radishes
- Cucumbers
- Asparagus
- Cabbage
- HCG P2 Carbs: One type of carb from the following list...
- One grissini breadstick: You can have Garlic Grissini Sticks or Traditional Grissini Sticks
- One Melba toast
- Two Melba “snacks” (original, garlic, whole grain, or sesame flavored)
