Directions for Taking Homeopathic HCG

Before you begin the HCG Protocol, make sure you've thoroughly read Pounds and Inches: A New Approach to Obesity to understand how the protocol works and what it requires. Once you've gathered everything you'll need and are ready to begin the HCG Diet, you'll want to make sure you administer your HCG properly. There are several types of HCG and administration of each type (drops, injections, tablets, creams, etc.) is different. Furthermore, different brands or products within the same type, i.e., drops, may require different administration. In this article, we are describing the administration of DIY Diet drops ONLY. We have approximately 8 years of experience between injections, drops, and tablets, and have used the drops almost exclusively for the last 6 years.

Dosage for DIY DIET DROPS

Unless your physician indicated otherwise, from our experience the most effective homeopathic HCG dose to start with is .5 cc administered three times each day. In some cases, you may want to adjust your dosage one way or the other, based on several factors.

Ideally, you should take the HCG at even time intervals throughout the day and it's best to take it at the same time each day; i.e., 8:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., 8:00 p.m.

Dosing Instructions

The instructions for dosing should be printed on the label of your homeopathic HCG. Before you take each dose, shake the bottle well. Draw the homeopathic HCG solution into the oral syringe or dropper. Our droppers are calibrated, so this should make getting the accurate amount a breeze. Measure .5 cc, which we have found to be as effective as 125 cc of an injection, and deposit the dose under your tongue. Do not swallow. Let the solution sit there for two minutes without swallowing for optimum absorption.

Precautions

Each time you dose, take the HCG at least 15 minutes after you eat, drink, or smoke. Likewise, don't eat, drink or smoke for 15 minutes after taking each dose. This includes brushing your teeth, chewing gum, sucking on mints, using mouth wash, or anything else that comes into contact with your mouth.

If you have to have dental work done that involves drilling, administer the HCG to your gums as far away from the drill site as possible. For example, if your back right side of your mouth was drilled, place the HCG on the gums at the front left side of your mouth.

As a side note regarding how you store your diet drops, don't let the HCG drops come into contact with extreme high or extreme low temperatures and keep it out of direct sunlight. Be aware that X-rays and microwaves can interfere with the potency of your HCG, so avoid storing your HCG where it might come into contact with these additional conditions. Store any diet drops that won’t be used for longer than a couple of days in the refrigerator to maintain potency longer in case you want to start up again in the next couple of weeks.
