Constipation – a Diet Side Effect
It may sound a little blunt, but sometimes on the diet, constipation happens. But don’t worry, it’s totally normal and we have a few easy solutions to help with constipation. Since you’re only consuming around 500 calories per day, it’s expected that you won’t have to “go” as often. However, if you’re starting to feel uncomfortable, there are some things you can do to remedy the situation.
- Make sure you’re drinking at least 2 liters of water per day.
- Eat your veggies! Most green vegetables can be eaten in unlimited quantities (like celery, lettuce, spinach, etc.).
- If all else fails, drink some Smooth Move Tea. Even though it has a few ingredients that would normally not be allowed, it is so effective that the positive effects outweigh the potential negative effects.
